Brite Solar Presents “AgroPower” at GREENSMARTMED Event in Thessaloniki
Brite Solar proudly took part in the GREENSMARTMED Transnational Event, held in Thessaloniki on May 27–28, 2025. This key Euro-MED gathering brought together innovators, researchers, clusters, and public agencies to accelerate the green transition in the agrifood sector.
Our CEO, Nikos Kanopoulos, presented the company’s pioneering concept “AgroPower” – a novel approach to integrating semi-transparent solar glass technology in agriculture through agrivoltaics. The concept highlights how dual land use can boost crop performance while generating clean energy, ensuring energy autonomy and sustainability in modern farming.
Hosted by CERTH and the Regional Development Fund of Western Macedonia, the event featured expert panels, interactive living labs, and visits to CERTH’s solar research facilities and the American Farm School.
